We are a premier homeschool based in Kepong, well known for our English Language courses and IGCSE lessons. Our programme include the development of children’s life skills and character building. Apart from that, our students participate in physical activities and extra-curricular activities outside the school compound as part of their outdoor learning.
Scholar Base Academy is a learning centre which offers a holistic approach to educate children from the age of 5 to 17 in a homeschool setting.
Our homeschool students follow British curriculum that encompasses Cambridge IGCSE focusses on children's intellectual, emotional, social and physical development. We adopt various methods that stimulate and motivate students to enjoy learning. Class learning includes outdoor activities and nature exploration.
The primary and secondary years of learning culminate to the IGCSE, the exam which will earn the students their internationally recognized certificates. After-school coaching and workshops will be held to support the students. Career sessions will be held to guide the students in their future academic path.
We placed upmost importance on motivation and self-interest in student's attitude towards their studies. We use online programme to supplement books in subject such as Maths and ICT to make the lessons interesting
Each student is encouraged to present on the stage, be it singing, story-telling or poem recitation. Students will develop their self-confidence and social connections. Speech and drama activities improve their creativity, team-work and interpersonal skills.
School trips are organized to help students to learn from experience which proves to be an effective learning approach.
Students are exposed to extra-curricular activities such as chess, badminton training, rubik cube and robotics.
Students are taught life-skills such as sewing, weaving, cooking and baking, and life-survival skills.

After my son joining Scholar Base Academy, I can see his improvements in many subject, especially in English.
